Italian Brass and Glass Pear Shaped Wine Decanter Set
VINTAGE VERY RARE & HTF
Below are the details I was able to locate on the internet about this set.
Unique brass and glass wine or beverage decanter. Five separate blown glass containers with brass tops (3 tops are missing) set on top of a brass sunflower shaped holder. These separate pieces fit together and are held in place by the brass sunflower shaped base and the brass top, giving it the shape of a pear.
The tray, 2 small caps and the top that sets on the very top is all SOLID BRASS - I tested it with a magnet to make sure that is is all brass.
I'm sure it could use a good cleaning - anyone that is familiar with cleaning brass could have it looking a wee bit better than it is - Personally, I like it just how it is..
I searched Ebay & The Internet for this item - I finally found 2 listed on another auction website -
One is listed on there as Used for $495.00 starting bid and the other one is also used and it is listed for $850.
